Menu's for today are Sotong Masak Kicap, Sweet Sour Prawn, and again fried mixed vegetables with squid.
So, today the choices of menu are basically seafood. The other day we ate Kambing, yesterday fried chicken was our menu and today its the seafood's day! hehehe.... here are the ingredients & ways according to my way laa..
Sotong Masak Kicap
Ingredients;
1/2 kg of squid
2 red onion
few garlics
1 chili (depends how much u like)
A thumb size of ginger
sweet soy sauce
a pinch of salt
How to do it?
1. First & foremost, wash & clean the squid first. And slice it into rings.
2. Then, the onions, garlics, ginger & chili must be chopped & sliced.
3. Sauté (tumis) all the onions, garlics, chili & gingers until you can smell the nice aroma.
4. Before you put in the squids and stir it equally, put in a pinch of salt.
5. Lastly, add the soy sauce in. Don't put too much coz your cooking might turn very black. hehe.
6. It's ready!
Sweet Sour Prawn
Ingredients;
1/2 kg of prawns
2 red onions
few garlics
half thumb size of ginger
chilies (if u want to add some la)
tomato sauce
chili sauce
1 spoon full of sugar (you can reduce the quantity if you don't like it too sweet)
a pinch of salt
How to do it?
1. Clean up the prawns first & wash it with lime water with salt to remove the fishy smell (hanyir ler tuh).
2. Chop all the onions, garlics, gingers and chilies and sauté it all together in the wok until you smell the nice aroma.
3. Put in the prawns as well as the salt.
4. Add some tomato sauce and chili sauce together in the wok.
5. Finally put a spoon full of sugar and stir everything well around 5-7 minutes.
6. Ready to be served! (",)
p/s: Udang & sotong x sepatutnya dimasak lama sebab nanti isinya jadi x lembut untuk dimakan. (bak kata opah saya lah.)
Now it is all served!!! Have a good try folks! ^o^"
